Frequently Asked Questions
Permanent jewellery is a custom-fit chain welded shut around your wrist, ankle, finger, or body. Instead of using a traditional clasp, we connect the ends of the chain with a small jump ring and micro-weld it closed. The process is completely quick, clean, and infinite.
Not at all! The weld is performed using a high-precision cold-fusion welder. The spark only touches the metal link, and we place a protective barrier between the chain and your skin. You will see a tiny flash of light, but you won't feel a thing.
If you must remove your jewellery for a medical procedure (like an MRI) or any other reason, you can easily snip it at home. Use sharp scissors or wire cutters to cut the specific 'connector link' we welded. Save your chain in your protective pouch—we can re-weld it for you at our Mayfair studio for a small £15 fee.
We only use premium metals (solid 14K gold and sterling silver), which do not rust or tarnish when exposed to water, perfume, or sweat. Additionally, solid gold and silver are fine metals, meaning they are completely airport scanner friendly and won't trigger security detectors.
Absolutely! We offer a curated bar of solid gold charms, including birthstones, initial medals, diamond drops, and astrological symbols. Charms can be threaded onto the chain before the welding process begins.
